Over a dozen hours of cross-ocean flight, the children arranged their journey properly?by?listening to music, reading books, eating snacks, dealing with?jet lag?and doing homework. Let us continue to be a beautiful boy?/girl quietly.?

抵達(dá)營(yíng)地的第一天就是一個(gè)挑戰(zhàn)：獨(dú)自完成鋪床的任務(wù)！離開了爸爸媽媽，我們一樣棒棒噠！There was a challenge the first day we arrived at the camp-to make the beds?ourselves! We?could be still good even without mom and dad.?
跟蜥蜴零距離接觸，學(xué)習(xí)植食性動(dòng)物、肉食性動(dòng)物、雜食性動(dòng)物的分類，種子植物、苔蘚植物、蕨類植物和裸子植物有什么不一樣，今天的收獲可真多呀。We contacted closely with lizards and learned the classification of animals and the difference of plants. It was really a fruitful day.
找到了世界上最高的樹種——紅杉樹，最高的超過(guò)300英尺，營(yíng)地里這棵紅杉樹也有大約150英尺（50米）高呢。大自然的世界里，還有很多秘密等著我們?nèi)ヌ剿鳌?br>In the camp, we found a 150 feet high sequoia, which belongs to the world's tallest tree species. In the world of nature, there are many secrets waiting for us to explore.
最重要的是，我們?cè)谶@里一切的課程都是親近大自然，通過(guò)探究式學(xué)習(xí)得來(lái)的。我們?cè)谶@里徒步，尋找紅杉林區(qū)的各種植物、了解森林的生態(tài)系統(tǒng)的運(yùn)轉(zhuǎn)、了解動(dòng)物金字塔的秘密。
Most importantly, all of our courses here were?close to nature, ?through inquiry learning. We hiked?here, looking for all kinds of plants in the Sequoia forest area, understanding the operation of the forest ecosystem?and the secrets of the animal pyramid.?
團(tuán)隊(duì)意識(shí)的培養(yǎng)被放在第一位！如何迅速的完成老師指定的任務(wù)，一次、二次、三次，跟同伴討論得出最后的答案：一個(gè)人通關(guān)不算什么，重要的是讓你的團(tuán)隊(duì)一起過(guò)關(guān)！The cultivation of team consciousness was?put in the first place! How to accomplish the task assigned by the teacher quickly, and discuss with your peers to get the final answer.?It is?more important to let your team pass customs together?than passing by your own.
當(dāng)然不只是學(xué)習(xí)知識(shí)，高空攀巖、叢林飛躍、高空秋千，每個(gè)活動(dòng)對(duì)美娃都是一次挑戰(zhàn)，攀上高高的站臺(tái)，我就是最棒的！Except for?knowledge?learning,?outdoor activities were??challenges?to children.?Climbing up on high platform, I am the best!?
最大的驚喜來(lái)自Banana slug(香蕉鼻涕蟲）和Salamander（蠑螈、俗稱娃娃魚）。老師這個(gè)超級(jí)哈利波特迷告訴我們，只要敢把這個(gè)流著“鼻涕”的東東放到鼻子上，就可以成為鼻涕蟲俱樂部的一員！The biggest surprises came from Banana slug and Salamander. The teacher, a super Harry Potter fan, told?us that the person who?dared?to put this thing with “runny nose”?on?his/her?nose could?become a member of the slug club!?
What！這么惡心的東西？你確定要放？我摸一摸先。好吧，為了和哈利波特他們成為一樣優(yōu)秀的人，豁出去了！
What! What a disgusting thing! Are you sure you want to put it on? I'll touch it first. Well, in order to be as good as Harry Potter, let's do it!?
你看，我在小溪里發(fā)現(xiàn)了這么珍貴的蠑螈！也算對(duì)我們這幾天辛勤學(xué)習(xí)的回報(bào)吧！Look, I found such precious salamanders?in the stream! It could be counted as?a reward for our hard work these days.??
我們來(lái)營(yíng)地就是鍛煉自己的，所以老師要求所有衣物全部自己洗，每天早上床鋪?zhàn)约赫恚?/section>We came to the camp to train?ourselves, so the teacher asked?us to wash our own clothes and make beds every morning by ourselves.
離開營(yíng)地、離開酒店的每一天，我們都是自己整理好了床鋪，像小小鳥兒，漸漸學(xué)著自己獨(dú)立的生活和飛翔。Every day we left?the camp and the hotel, we made?our beds.?Like little birds, we?learned?to live and fly independently?gradually.?
